My bf and I had been wanting to try this after a favorite youtube fraghead of ours kept putting it in her top 5, top gourmand, top whatever lists. I love vanilla flavors and scents but only if they are rich and natural. If they even resemble a cheap bathroom spray, count me out.
This fragrance is very rich and dark. The vanilla is sweet at first like a gourmet vanilla cookie with hints of spiciness but it dries down into a boozy dark vanilla. The dry down is the best part, of course. It takes on a sensual burnt vanilla sugar scent. Not hyper masculine and not hyper feminine. This is a fragrance that can be worn by anyone given the right occasion and weather. I love it for the “fall” weather we are having in LA right now. Cool, drizzly and overcast make this vanilla fragrance a really comforting scent. I only wish it had a little more projection and longevity. After 2-3 hours it is a skin scent and after 4-5 hours it is almost non-existent. But it sticks around in my clothing for days.
